张立峰 Lifeng Zhang PhD, P.Eng.

Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. He obtained d his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2006. He received his Bachelor degree in Polymer Chemical Engineering and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He also had a Master’s degree from Singapore-MIT Alliance in 2002. After he graduated from the University of Waterloo, he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at UBC for three years. Afterwards, he worked as a senior project engineer with RESGroup Inc. before he took the academic position at the University of Saskatchewan in July 2013. He has published 20+ journal papers and has one international patent filed. His current research interests include fluidization and multiphase flow systems, green energy and sustainability, reaction engineering, and electrostatics in powder handling processes.
